MOVING TO THE GINGERBREAD CLINIC IN ST IVES FROM 3 DECEMBER: START THE NEW YEAR BY LOOKING AFTER YOURSELF BETTER!
Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years to treat a wide range of physical and emotional problems. Despite its ancient origins it is being used increasingly today as research shows it to be a safe and effective treatment which can be used alongside conventional medicine.
My name is Trisha Farrow and I am a fully qualified and registered practitioner working from two practices covering Uppingham, Corby, Oundle, Thrapston, Stamford, Huntingdon, St Ives and North Northamptonshire. For full details of these practices please click on the Prices and Location page on the left.
For returning clients I have recently moved to Uppingham. Please see the contact details page for my new address and telephone number, my mobile remains the same.
WHAT CAN IT HELP?Acupuncture treats the whole person rather than particular symptoms. You don't have to have a specific complaint, if you feel in any way that your physical or emotional health could be better then you may find acupuncture helpful. However, a list of conditions that the World Health Organisation feels there may be evidence for acupuncture being helpful is on the What Can It Help? page.
My post graduate studies have focussed on musculo-skeletal and gynaecological/fertility issues. Common reasons for seeking acupuncture are back, muscle and joint problems, headaches and migraine, anxiety and depression.
WANT TO KNOW MORE?At this point most people are wondering about how acupuncture originated and works, whether it is safe, whether a fear of needles would prevent them having treatment. Please click on the ABOUT ACUPUNCTURE page where I have tried to cover all the questions I am most commonly asked.
I am committed to delivering high quality, effective health care. The continuing one to one relationship between the patient and acupuncturist is something my patients seem to value highly, as do I. I look forward to welcoming you to my practice
